Mara, my cousin, came back from Taiwan and wanted to try out Gelish Pedicure this time!
She picked an adorable bow design from Nail Max June issue for her toes!
We mixed them up with polka dots for the toes that were smaller and here they are!!!!
Aren’t they super cute????
I left my tools at home as I went to Ying’s place on Saturday, no dotting tool for me, so I used my art brush. Should’ve tried using an orange stick though, but, oh well…
I think I’m starting to love doing Gelish Pedicures!
I’ve wanted to have french tips for the longest time, and I couldn’t previously as I broke my nails while hand-washing a few loads of clothes =( , but thanks to Akzentz Luxio, my nails grew longer and stronger, and I finally wore them!!!
I painstakingly did my French manicure, believe me, it was sooooo challenging, I literally wanted to pull my hair out!
I love doing nails for others, but for some reason, doing my own nails frustrates me, I can’t do them perfectly! 😦
I tried my best with the French manicure. Though it wasn’t as perfect as I’d like it to be, I was happy.
But, my happiness didn’t last any longer than 8 days, my nails grew quite quickly, and the classic french nails revealed my natural nail growth at the smile-line, what’s a girl to do then???
It’s crazy to change to a new set of manicure just because the nails has grown a little right? So I had an idea! Bows!
I’ve wanted to try the pretty bows that Cynthia and Kim made for the longest time too(yes, there are tons of stuff I want to do on my nails and for you awesome ladies of course!), so I went a little overboard and did them on ALL TEN NAILS!
And as if that wasn’t enough, I had to do them in the same pretty pastels that Kim did them in, on her nail wheel(I’m a super fan of pastels!). This is also the first time in having this many colors on my nails(I think!).
Here’s my first attempt, besides the bows on Claudia, I did these 10 on my own nails! Really thought I’d die doing them but I didn’t!!!!
Here’s version 2.0, Felicia’s Nails! 😀
So you see, this is how you maximize your French manicure! 🙂
Joyce brought her sweet and very very very, when I say very I mean VERY obedient daughter Reyna with her.
She looked so pretty in a toga and she was very friendly! Not only was she friendly, she liked everyone!
She was playing with Ying’s mum the whole few hours her mum was there doing her nails!
Never once did she pester her mum or threw tantrums. Neither did she try to ruin her mum’s nails running around…
Then to my surprise, when Ying and her clients came, she went to the door and said “Hi!!” enthusiastically! A total sweetheart!
She also surprised me by standing at Ying’s room door, watching quietly instead of taking herself into the room like any curious kid would.
Extremely well-behaved!!! If I ever could have guarantee that I would have a kid like that, I would!!!!
It was a rainy day and she wasn’t afraid of the thunder as well, instead she sang songs happily!
Joyce was also a very sweet mom, she chose a sweet pastel design with a Hello Kitty bow to surprise Reyna. She picked the pastel colors and design and we came up with that as we saw something similar in Nail Max/Nail Venus.
I had so so much fun laughing and watching Reyna play and doing Joyce’s nails! How I wished every nail session was filled with such happiness!
*picture credited to Joyce. She was so kind she sent me a picture in the evening, even before I asked her as I forgot…
I just cannot stop showering praises on Marilyn’s long, slender fingers and nail beds, she has nails fit for nail modeling!
It was a challenge today as Marilyn picked this popular set of Chanel nails inspired by Cynfulnails.
But I am so glad it turned out fabulously well!
She had quilts, acrylic flowers, ribbons with crystals and lots of bling!
Thank you awesome clients who pick and stick to a design! Hee… I love raising to the challenge!
It’s 3:38am and I really ought to go to bed now, work later and house-call after that. But I can’t help wanting to post these “Pau” bows!
These bows are inspired by Ying, for some reason I can’t get the exact look of her bows and it turned out like how it is now.
But the main thing about the bows, is that the are supposed to resemble the top of those Kong Guan char Siew buns(Pau). I definitely gotta practice more!
This set of Gelish manicure with glitter gradation and 6 acrylic bows: $56.
