My water decals!!!
If you don’t know what they are, these are decals that are applied to the nails after you soak them in water. They all have white paper backing as you can see, what you do is you’ll cut out the decal, dunk it in water for 20-30 seconds and remove it carefully with a pair of tweezers and place it on your nails. Let it dry and then top coat.
I love how thin these are compared to stickers and they provide more room for error as they will allow you to move them around so long as the surface is damp.
Stickers may cause bubbling in gel sometimes as it sticks out and catches on things, creating small holes where water enters and cause bubbling.
I’m giving this a test under gel-my Valentines’ nails this year, and I’ll review it shortly.
I’ve never tried water decals on normal nail polish but I’m certain they stay on well there.
I got these from a local supplier. If you need to get them you can google “water decals for nails” or “N.Nail”, I saw one of the sites selling them at $6USD. (Can’t remember which though, sorry!)
